How it happened
Born Winnipeg Manitoba, Raised in Victoria, Digital Nomad Patricia Lee usually works from the road.

Early in her professional life Patricia covered B.C. Politics as an accredited Reporter from her desk at the British Columbia Legislative Press Gallery. Interning (and later, News Partnering) with Father, Hubert Beyer, Patricia's coverage was published for 5 years at more than 40 of the Provinces newspapers as well as Feature Pieces for the Globe and Mail, Forest Planning Canada and Politics & Policy Magazine.
Bitten by the entrepreneurial bug, Patricia left journalism to start up one of Victoria's earliest Cellular Phone stores, which expanded to 3 locations before selling the whole damn business in order to move to the next up and coming technology early.
Moving to Toronto and into the .com professional world (during the .bomb) Patricia not only remained successful through the internet growing pains, but as a result became one of Canada's first true Digital Nomads.
Having since lived in BC's Okanagan, Vancouver, Toronto, Northern Alberta and so many other cool places (a benefit of an online career) opened Patricia's eyes to the potential for living a life of professional adventure.
Working from anywhere, be it Bromley Rock in Gorgeous British Columbia, a funky cafe at the corner of L.A.'s Sunset and Sweetzer or a local street vendor in Kowloon, Hong Kong, life became "work-from-laptop" decades before any Pandemic could force the rest of the world to explore the idea. And whoooooo-boy there has definitely been adventure. :)
Noted early on by Microsoft as a talented online layout artist, the choice to continue to hone skills in layout and development while also managing business ventures played a key role in co-publishing the exciting new HairyDogProductions.com laughter hub.
Now living on the Nova Scotia South Shore, Patricia continues to adventure her way through life, be it hiking, kayaking, road tripping and camping - and anyone can keep up with those adventures by reading her "episodic" transcripts of some of the most hilarious (and heart felt) moments on the road.
